I’m a fullstack developer in the UK, running my own sole trader practice on the side. I keep noticing that the boring parts of running a one-person business — admin, taxes, chasing invoices, talking to HMRC — quietly eat far more hours than they should. So I’m trying to figure out what’s actually painful for other sole traders, and where AI could realistically help instead of just adding another dashboard nobody opens.
